Charles Oliver was the founder and creative director of his own production company for eight years before he sold the company in order to focus on his full-time freelance directing career. He comes from an extensive background in theatre and film and has been directing for over ten years. He has directed regional and national television campaigns as well as many corporate identity pieces. His work has won multiple Addy awards as well as a national Golden Spike award. Charles Oliver is the writer/director of TAKE which represents his feature-film directorial debut. He is from Bainbridge Island, Washington, where he lives with his wife, four children, and entirely too many farm animals.
